Skipped school today, as I was planning to do so the night before. Abandoned plans to iron uniform, check if socks were washed and complete any overdue homework. I really do have to learn the art of time management. Spent the entire day doing homework, eating and sleeping :D Anyways, I’ve got a Geography test tomorrow, it’s 9.30 now and I’m yet to take a bath.
iPhone is so addictive. Darn the millions of applications and my habit to ‘unlock’ the phone because its fun to slide the arrow on the touchscreen.
rant : I find it absolutely uhnoying when my aunt’s make comments about the price of my belongings. Yes, I KNOW they are expensive (I am not bragging) but how can they expect me NOT to appreciate and value these very valuable items ? They must think that I’m some good-for-nothing, ungrateful spoilt brat who doesn’t know the value of money, which I certainly am not. I won’t be surprised if they percieve me to think that money grows on trees, but obviously I know better. Just because I attend a private school, and am considered ‘privileged’ compared to others, does not mean that I do not know how appreciate what my parents do for me, the things I am rewarded with, and neither does it make me a bimbo. Its up to my parents whether or not they want to spoil me and if they are willing to pay for what I want. It’s not like I purchase a RM200 dress nor a RM1000 phone ALL THE TIME and only recently, this year to be precise, have my parents agreed to do so, for the first time in 17 friggin years ! (again I am not bragging, just trying to justify my point) I love my relatives, but sometimes they can be a humongous pain in the assĀ -_-
I hate this stupid rule where aunts and uncles have more authority over their nieces and nephews, than the parents do. It’s a bullshit policy, and for heaven’s sake, we’re living in the 21 century, so its about time some old rules die hard
ciao.
